There are tape tricks and then there are dysfunctional parenting tape tricks

So we tried the tape trick at home as blogged about at Beansprouts and apartment therapy here

and it worked really well!

But we came up with our own tape trick that works even better!

Tess was so upset by the explanation of bedtime tape trick that Abigail came up with a better solution. Abby has been saving the day lately with inventive ways to distract and please her sister. When she say Tess was upset, I mean she was having NONE OF IT. "That is not the tape trick!" Like how dare we come up with something so un-fun. So....enter the "tape me to the wall Daddy" tape trick. The goal was to tape them as high up the wall as possible, but mom (me) got nervous. The girls pretended to have super human strength and escaped their spiderwebs. We acted out the book "Spider and the Fly". Their favorite part is when the fly gets trapped. Funny monkeys.....

Christmas, Northstar Tahoe and Playhouse Build

Its been a busy but amazing month. I threw up my hands and tossed my burdens to the universe, well, my family. And you know what? They held me up and carried me along. I love and miss you and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your unconditional support.

Here are some photos of our new felt playhouse. This was a labor of love that took far far longer than anticipated but the girls are having the best time, finally with their new home. Hope you like it. I will be posting more about our month and Christmas soon.
